Refund Policy

This refund policy applies to hardware ordered via our self-serve checkout (currently available to US Square operators) and to commercial agreements signed through our sales process. SaaS subscriptions are governed by your service agreement or signed Master Service Agreement.
"Upvendo" refers to Upvendo BV (Kalvekeetdijk 179, 8300 Knokke-Heist, Belgium) for customers established in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, and to Upvendo, Inc. (300 Delaware Avenue, Suite 210, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States) for customers established in the US.
As a B2B provider of kiosks, online-ordering systems and related solutions, Upvendo offers a 30-day trial period to ensure our solutions meet your business needs. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under applicable law (including statutory withdrawal rights under EU consumer law where you qualify as a consumer).
Unopened Hardware Returns
- 30-day return window from delivery date
- Must be in original sealed packaging
- All components, documentation and accessories included
- Full refund
- Upvendo covers return shipping
Used Hardware Returns
- 30-day trial period from installation date
- 20% devaluation fee applies
- Must be returned in original working condition:
- No physical damage
- Fully functional
- All components complete and undamaged
- All original documentation included
- No unauthorized modifications
- Returns with customer-caused damage will not be accepted
- Upvendo covers return shipping
Shipping and Packaging
- Upvendo covers return shipping costs
- Original packaging must be used
- Keep all original packaging during the trial period
- Damage during return shipping may void refund eligibility
- Insurance provided by Upvendo
Non-Returnable Items
- Custom-configured systems
- Activated software licenses
- Special-order items
- Hardware deployed over 30 days
Defective Equipment
If equipment arrives damaged or defective:
- Report within 48 hours of delivery
- Photo documentation required
- Free replacement or repair provided
- No devaluation fee applies
Refund Processing
- Inspection required upon return receipt
- Refund issued within 10 business days
- Original payment method credited
- 20% devaluation fee applied to used returns
